Teaching
Teaching is the most rewarding part of this job, and I care deeply about doing it well. My teaching philosophy is shaped by having once been someone who did not see himself as college-bound. It was only through generous, welcoming, and relatable teachers that I came to see myself in the academy, and I aim to create that same kind of environment for my students.
Feel free to email me for a copy of my teaching statement.
Below are syllabi from past courses. I’m always learning from experience and refining my approach—don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re curious how I’d update these for future iterations.
