I'm an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at Florida International University.
I received my PhD in Philosophy in May 2025 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before that, I received my MLitt in Philosophy from the University of St. Andrews and my BA in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin.
I work primarily in the theory of normativity, construed broadly to include both epistemology and ethics. I also work in applied epistemology, and while at UNC, I was a Graduate Fellow in the Applied Epistemology Project. I also have growing research interests in social & political philosophy.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy thrifting, working out, watching movies, and writing music. In a past life, I was ranked among the top 500 players globally in the video game Overwatch. In an even more distant past life, I wrote commercial stock music for a publishing company; my songs have been used for commercial purposes in around 70 countries.
