This fall, I will be joining the Department of Philosophy at Florida International University as Assistant Professor. 

I received my PhD in Philosophy in May 2025 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before coming to UNC, I received my MLitt in Philosophy from the University of St. Andrews (SASP Programme) and my BA from the University of Wisconsin.

I work primarily in the theory of normativity, construed broadly to include both ethics and epistemology. I also work in applied epistemology, and while at UNC, I was a Graduate Fellow in the Applied Epistemology Project.  

Outside of philosophy, I enjoy thrifting, working out, watching TV and movies, playing video games, and writing music. In a past life, I was ranked among the top 500 players globally in the video game Overwatch. In an even more distant past life, I wrote commercial stock music for a publishing company; my songs have been used in around 70 countries.
